Treehouse Tatu
Tatu, also known as "the house on the rocks," is a true hidden gem, reached by passing through a magical foliage tunnel that feels like stepping into another world. This treehouse is surrounded by a symphony of fireflies and is the most intimately connected to the ocean, offering breathtaking sea views both near and far. The natural surroundings are teeming with life, where crabs and mudskippers scuttle about just meters below, and sometimes, you might even spot schools of fish swimming beneath the house.
Tatu is uniquely designed with two separate levels, each with its own roof, creating the sensation of two distinct houses. These levels are harmoniously connected by a central deck, where you'll find a charming bathroom with two sinks and ensuite toilets. The main house sits on rocks beneath a Tamarind tree, close to the ground, while the staircase descends into the second house, which hovers over the beach, nestled among the mangroves. The clever design ensures that, even while indoors, you remain surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty of Chole Island.
